    Home Health Aid/ Personal Care Assistant in Acworth

    Optimum Pediatric Services, LLC specializes in caring for clients with medically fragile conditions. As a Home Health Aid / Personal Care Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant, Optimum Pediatric Services anticipates that you can offer in-home care and assistance for our clients while supporting family members/caregivers with their duties at specific or various locations.

    Optimum Pediatric Services views you as an experienced, compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Home Health Aid / Personal Care Assistant interested in providing optimal pediatric care for our medically fragile clients.

    Obligations for Home Health Aids / Personal Care Assistants:

    • Observing/supporting the client's daily Treatment plan/Medication regimen:

    1. Taking temperature
    2. Monitoring Heart Rate
    3. Monitoring respiration
    4. Monitoring Blood Pressure
    5. Monitoring saturation
    6. Monitoring pain intensity
    7. Reporting pain levels
    8. Support/observe/report skin conditions, e.g., rashes, bruises, wounds, etc.
    9. Observe/report meal consumption
    10. Assist with food prep and storage

    • Daily support of ADLS & Hygiene:

    1. Bathing: (tub/bed) Mouth Cleaning
    2. Hair grooming (wash/comb/brush)
    3. Nail filing Assist with dressing
    4. Assist with toileting
    5. Diaper changing
    6. Bowel program (bowel movement) Observing/reporting changes in condition
    7. Changing linens/making bed
    8. Light trash removal
    9. Doing laundry
    10. Arranging medical trips / Picking up prescriptions
    11. Accompanying on medical appointments
    12. Providing watchful supervision

    • Daily support of ADLS & Hygiene:

    • Monitoring and assisting with the client’s physical limitations

    1. Assisting with walking
    2. Encouraging physical activity
    3. Assist with simple exercises Preparing meals

    • Effective and compassionate communication skills e.g., speaking with parents, OPS management team, etc. • Critical thinking skills • Familiarity with basic mobile apps (EMR system) • Reliable transportation *Benefits include: • Competitive Pay

    Requirements for registered nurse (RN) / License Practical Nurse (LPN): • Valid DL • Current CPR certification • Background Check (will be administered)
