Job Description: We are looking for a caring and experienced Home Health Aide to assist an elderly patient in Plainfield, NJ. The primary responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), bathing, feeding, medication management, and meal preparation.
Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate care to an elderly patient with Alzheimer’s.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Administer medication as prescribed.
Prepare and serve nutritious home-cooked meals.
Engage the patient in meaningful activities and companionship.
Maintain a safe and clean environment.
Communicate effectively with the patient, family members, and healthcare providers.
Monitor and report any changes in the patient’s condition.
Requirements:
Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in the state of New Jersey.
Previous experience working with Alzheimer’s patients.
Comfortable and not afraid of dogs.
Ability to prepare and cook homemade meals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Alzheimer’s care.
Passion for cooking and meal preparation.
Previous experience in a similar role.
