Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes and assisted living facilities. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a commitment to caregiving, patience, and the ability to work independently while following care plans.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.

Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals according to dietary needs.

Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.

Assist clients with mobility, including lifting or transferring them safely when necessary.

Document medical information and care provided accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Support clients with memory care activities to enhance cognitive function and engagement.

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans and client progress.

Qualifications

Previous experience in home community care or assisted living settings is preferred but not required.

Familiarity with medical documentation practices is an advantage.

Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help others.

Ability to lift clients safely and assist them with mobility needs.

Knowledge of caregiving techniques for individuals with memory care requirements is beneficial.

First aid and CPR certified

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; relevant certifications in caregiving or home health aide training are a plus.

Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
