    Are you passionate about helping seniors maintain their independence and dignity? Touching Hearts at Home of Southwest Boston is seeking dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) in the Norfolk County area to provide compassionate, high-quality care to seniors in the comfort of their homes.

    What You’ll Do as a Home Health Aide (HHA) As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting seniors with their daily needs while providing companionship and care.

    Key Responsibilities

    Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

    Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping assistance.

    Monitor clients’ physical and emotional well-being, reporting changes to supervisors.

    Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging in meaningful activities like conversations, games, or light exercises.

    Support mobility, including transfers and ambulation.

    Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients.

    Provide medication reminders and follow care plans as directed.

    Qualifications for Success We’re looking for compassionate and reliable caregivers with a passion for working with seniors.

    Requirements

    Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credentials in Massachusetts (preferred but not required; OR have at least 1 year of personal experience caring for a loved one or on a private duty case.

    Previous experience providing care for seniors in a home care, assisted living, or nursing facility setting (preferred).

    A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to client homes.

    Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient demeanor.

    Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support.

    Familiarity with senior care needs, such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, or chronic conditions.
