Home Health Care Office Scheduler/Reception -experienced
Brightstar Care of Birmingham, MI is looking for a Customer-Service Oriented Home Care Scheduler to join our team!
Our Home Care Scheduler helps communicate schedules and information between our clients and care team professionals, building schedules, confirming changes, and overseeing field staff performance and reliability. They help with day-to-day office operations of our home care agency, including but not limited to: answering the phones, taking intake calls, filling open shifts and call-offs, entering call logger notes for changes and updates, uploading documents to client or employee files, supervising field staff administratively, and communicating with our nursing team. This is a position that requires in-office work and you must be able to work rotating weekends!

Responsibilities:
Customer/client care – effectively manages the customer care procedures and serves as point of contact for client/customer relations.
Scheduling and care coverage – supports and uses all technology tools and resources to ensure proper business processes; schedules staff to meet client care needs and minimize non-billed overtime; ensures on-call phone and assigned staff are properly trained and available as needed.
Assists with the intake of new clients and informs potential clients of our services and reasons to utilize BrightStar over other agencies
You will be required to serve as a on-call person one weekend a month
Scheduling and care coverage – supports and uses all technology tools and resources to ensure proper business processes
Assists the Director of Nursing with assessing the competency of staff to promote quality, continuity and safety of a client’s care
Supervises, educates and coaches other field personnel, as directed by the Director of Nursing
Administers agency policies and procedures
Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws
Assures compliance with all local, state and federal laws
Requirements:
Must be able to help run Orientations
High School Diploma required
Proficient in MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Multi-Tasker - Excellent organization, planning, and project management skills.
Good time management skills A MUST
Great communicator
Ability to work rotating weekends
2 years of relevant home health care experience preferred
Valid driver’s license; valid state required proof of auto insurance.
Transportation to meet the needs of position and scope of job responsibilities.
