Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

• Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to develop individualized care plans.
• Implement therapeutic activities to enhance patients’ independence in daily tasks.

Education & Empowerment

• Educate patients and families on techniques for managing daily living activities at home.

Collaboration

• Work closely with nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide timely progress updates.

Professional Development

• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensing: Active Arizona OT license.
• Certifications: CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience: Home health experience required.
• Skills: Strong communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
• Transportation: Reliable vehicle and a valid Arizona driver’s license.
