Qualifications
Graduate of a state approved school of vocational nursing and currently licensed in the State of Texas.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in home health QA, auditing, and compliance.
Acceptance of philosophy and goals of this Agency.
Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgement.
Compliance with all applicable rules and regulations governing the scope of the LVN's practice in the state of Texas.
Receives 20 hours of CEUs every two years
Is in good standing with the vocational board for LVN's in the state of Texas and remain so
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Reviewing clinical notes
Reviewing new referrals and assisting with the intake process
Implement QA and assessment programs
Attend required meetings and committee activities
Monitors quality trends and instructs clinicians
Participate in QAPI meetings/assessments and reports
Identifies need and trends for education
Works collaboratively with clinicians ,case managers, and insurance companies to ensure quality and continuity of care
Monitor and track adverse events
Monitor and track infection control program
Maintains HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
