    The Registered Nurse will assist with the responsibility, authority and administrative leadership functions of Home Helpers Home Care of North Greensboro and will be available during Agency's operating hours.

    Qualifications:

    Shall be a Registered Nurse licensed to practice in NC or have multistate practicing privileges and have a minimum of 1-year experience in-home care.

    A Health Care practitioner as defined in G.S. 90 640(a).

    An individual who has at least 2-years supervisory or management experience in-home care or any other provider licensed pursuant to G.S. 131E or G.S. 122C; or

    An individual who holds a bachelor's degree in health, business or public administration science and has at least one year of supervisory or management experience in home care or other licensed health care program.

    Skills & Abilities:

    Knowledge of community resources.

    Ability to constructively provide, accepts and utilizes supervision.

    Ability to maintain professional relations when dealing with clients and or staff.

    Ability to perform supervisory duties when needed.

    Ability to handle stressful situations and de-escalate situations.

    Moderate to light lifting, bending, sitting and standing.

    Great interpersonal skills.

    Job Duties:

    Ensures all records are complete and updated as needed per agency policy.

    Conduct 90-day Supervisory & In-Home visits for clients to update Care Plans.

    Conduct 90-day Client Record Review per agency policy.

    Assist with the development and execution weekly and monthly marketing ideas and plans.

    Develop Plan of Care for clients.

    Review Companion/Sitter and In-Home Aide service logs/timesheets.

    Complete skills verifications for all in-home caregivers.

    Adheres to agency policy and procedures.

    Assists with the hiring, supervision, training, evaluation, and discharge of all agency personnel in consultation with Agency Management team.

    Assists with job interviews.

    Conduct annual employee performance evaluations.

    Available during the hours-of-service provision to the clients.

    Work to improve efficiency and quailty in delivering home care services.

    Assist with recruiting efforts of the agency, assist with retention efforts of staff, help to maintain appropriate staffing levels.

    Assist management team to ensure program personnel have current information and current practices in place.

    Ensure staff development including orientation, in-service education, continuing education, and evaluation of staff.

    Take action on reports and recommendations of any authorized planning, regulatory or inspection agencies.

    Ensure staff education, evaluations, and availability of applicable regulations to all Agency staff, including contractual providers.

    Responsible for supervision and evaluation of satisfaction surveys on all patients served.

    Perform other duties as assigned by Management team.
