Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Home Infusion Nurse to join our team! As an Infusion Care Nurse

Responsibilities

Knowledge of home health care and IV therapy. Care of peripheral and central lines

Knowledge of Infusion therapy Modalities including infusion pumps

Experience in the following skill sets recommended: PORT care; Central line care; Starting Peripheral IV, Venipuncture, Foley Catheter Care, Wound care, Wound Vac application, Ostomy care, Pleurx, Medication and Disease Process teaching

Knowledge of medications, indications, dosage ranges, side effects and potential toxicities

Exceptional standards of patient care and communication

Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure

Continuous education of developments in the field of nursing and infusion therapy

Qualifications

Required state licensing to act as a nurse in a hospital setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum of One year Home Health Experience (REQUIRED)

At least 2 years of recent medical surgical or critical care experience

Current CPR certification (REQUIRED).

Valid Florida driver’s license, active automobile insurance and reliable vehicle

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and medical charting

The ability to work well in a high-pressure environment
