Our team is looking for a collaborative, results-driven, tech-savvy leader to join and help lead our high-performing and growth-focused Operations Team to the next level. Responsibilities: About the Role: The Operations Manager is a member of the Barker & Sons Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Integrator/Chief Operating Officer, harmonizing the selling, scheduling, and completion of all plumbing services through leadership, management, and accountability of our technicians, dispatch, sales teams, and processes. This role supervises our Field Services & Sales Support teams and drives effective and profitable daily operations through direct leadership, process improvement, sales coaching, and the use of key data and metrics to identify issues, enhance accountability, and drive performance. The key to success is the ability to manage teams that deliver plumbing home services and achieve effective sales conversion. Job Duties: • Lead, manage, and be accountable for the performance and results of the Operations Team. • Build cohesive teams and continuously enhance relationships throughout the company. • Effectively communicate and collaborate across all departments. • Directly manage the Installation, Drain & Sewer Sales, & Plumbing Field Service Managers. • Recruit screen, select, and management of employees to achieve company objectives. • Accountable for training and execution of sales service system. • Oversee the creation, implementation, and adherence to core operations processes. • Oversee our “sell, schedule, do” end-to-end process to optimize employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and company profitability. • Continually identify team and individual coaching opportunities to include service delivery, sales conversion, and process adherence. • Implement Nexstar best practices for Sales, Service, and Installation, ensuring tools and processes are in place to track performance metrics and obtain objectives. Qualifications: Required • Home Service Operations Management experience. • Proven team leader, experienced in managing multiple teams. • Strong understanding of home services P&L, cash flow drivers, and the use financial metrics to diagnose and coach business performance. • Detail-focused, self-starter that gets things done. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Tech savvy, learns and implements new software and systems quickly. • Experienced with Home Services Industry software, excel, & MS Office Suite. • Adept at creating and improving processes, systems, and sales performance. • Able to work out of our Orange County office daily.3-5 years within a Home Services company.Proven sales management track record. Preferred • Strong technical understanding of plumbing home services products and solutions. • Experience using Service Titan or similar scheduling and transaction management software. Desired • Experience within a Nexstar Home Services Company. • Completion of Home Services management and/or sales training systems. • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related fields. Compensation: $130,000 annually + bonus for OTE
