    The MPU ELECTRICIAN is responsible for completing residential service panel upgrades in order to accommodate the solar back feed for a project.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Completing residential service upgrades.
    • Reviewing photos of upcoming projects
    • Troubleshooting electrical or solar issues.
    • Collect data and photos during and at the end of each project.
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Comply with required training and fulfillment of assigned duties.
    • Maintain a clean driving record.
    • Complete projects within strict timeframes and allowed budgets.
    • Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on safety.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
    • Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your ability.

    THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE…

    • Valid CA journeyman license or higher required
    • Minimum 3-year residential solar electrical experience.
    • Strong understanding of NEC codes.
    • Previous experience completing service upgrades.
    • Knowledge of residential solar.
    • Ability to tie in the existing solar system to the main panel.
    • Ability to lift 40 pounds occasionally throughout the day.
    • Ability to work safely with heights on ladders and in confined areas.
    • Experience complying with OSHA safety requirements and regulations.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly Pay: $45-50, depending on certification and experience
