    Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to oversee our financial operations. This role is integral to our firm, involving the management of financial activities, including the generation and collection of hourly billing legal services invoices, overseeing revenue and expenditures, and providing strategic financial recommendations to enhance our firm's growth and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement effective billing strategies for hourly legal services. • Manage the full billing cycle, from invoice creation to collections. • Oversee revenue management and identify opportunities for enhancing profitability. • Control and manage expenditures within budgetary limits. • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and partners. • Coordinate with various departments to optimize financial processes. • Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts. • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain high standards of financial integrity. Qualifications: • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. An MBA or CPA certification is highly preferred. • Experience: At least 10 years of progressive financial management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within a law firm or similar professional services environment. • Skills: Deep understanding of legal billing processes, revenue management, and financial strategy development. Must possess strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite. Desired Attributes: • Proven track record in financial management and strategy implementation. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead effectively. • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
