ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST
This role supports the mission and core values of Hoosier Gasket Corporation (HGC) by providing general office support with a variety of accounting activities and related tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Print vendor invoices.
Match packing slips to invoices.
Data entry of account payable invoices.
Weekly check runs.
Vendor statement reconciliation and correspondence.
Assists with other daily office tasks, such as filing, mail, maintaining records, scanning and copying.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with established finance policies and regulations.
Assist with Account Receivable as needed.
Maintains confidentiality at all times.
Maintains high moral character and good attendance record.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks and performs other duties as needed and/or assigned.
BENEFITS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED required.
Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.
2-4 years of Accounts Payable Experience.
Knowledge and experience of basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
Microsoft Nav experience a plus!
