As a Hydraulic Hose Technician at Pirtek Savannah, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and replacing hydraulic hoses and fittings on-site for our customers. You will travel in a fully equipped mobile service vehicle to various customer locations, ensuring that hydraulic systems are up and running quickly and efficiently. Your role will involve a combination of technical expertise, customer interaction, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform on-site hydraulic hose replacement, assembly, and installation for customers in various industries, including construction, agriculture, marine, and logistics.
Diagnose hydraulic hose failures and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers and delivering timely and efficient service.
Maintain and manage inventory on your mobile service vehicle, ensuring that tools, hoses, fittings, and parts are well-organized and in stock.
Ensure that all service work is completed in compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
Accurately complete service reports, invoices, and other necessary documentation.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on-site and in the service vehicle.
Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay up-to-date with industry advancements and Pirtek standards.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in various work environments.
Clean driving record
Preferred, but not required previous experience in hydraulic hose assembly and repair, mechanical repair, or a related technical field. Training will be provided
