    Are you called to serve others in their most tender and meaningful moments? Dependable Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate and spiritually grounded Chaplain to join our interdisciplinary team. This is an opportunity to make a profound impact on patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses, offering comfort, guidance, and support through every step of the journey.

    What You’ll Do

    As our Hospice Chaplain, you’ll provide spiritual care and grief support to patients and families, helping them find peace, purpose, and connection in a deeply personal way. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team of nurses, social workers, and care providers to ensure every patient receives holistic, dignified care.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Completing initial and comprehensive spiritual assessments

    • Developing and contributing to personalized care plans

    • Providing direct spiritual and grief counseling to patients and families

    • Collaborating with local clergy and spiritual leaders from diverse faith backgrounds

    • Attending interdisciplinary team meetings and contributing to overall care strategies

    • Maintaining accurate documentation of all spiritual care services

    • Offering bereavement support and education as part of the hospice philosophy

    What We’re Looking For

    • At least 1 year of experience as a chaplain (hospice experience preferred)

    • Knowledge of Medicare requirements for spiritual and bereavement care

    • Experience in grief, loss, and end-of-life counseling

    • Ability to work compassionately with individuals from diverse spiritual and cultural backgrounds

    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team

    • Connections to a network of spiritual counselors and community chaplains

    • Spanish-speaking is a plus
