Wonderful Hospitalist or Nocturnist Opportunity in Killeen, TX.
Position Highlights:
- Our hospital is organized into five units: two medical-surgical units, one progressive care unit, one cardiac/step-down care unit, and one intensive care unit (ICU). The ICU is staffed with a dedicated critical care physician with tele-ICU capabilities.
- As a level 3 trauma center, stroke center, and comprehensive cardiac center, our facility provides specialized care. The team’s daily responsibilities include overseeing inpatient care, handling new admissions, and supervising the swing APP. Active participation in mandatory multidisciplinary rounds ensures patient safety and directs appropriate resources.
- The hospital medicine group is recognized for its patient-centered and respectful approach. We are driven to enhance physician communication not only with patients but also with multidisciplinary teams. Placing patient care as our top priority, we adhere to evidence-based medicine, ensuring safe and reliable care for everyone in the community.
- Our hospitalist team members are deeply committed to the hospital’s success and actively participate in various committees such as the sepsis, readmission, peer review, credentialing, and glycemic.
- Functioning as effective community partners, our hospitalists mentor PA students through clinical rotations and engage in health equity projects initiated by the hospital’s quality department.
