One of the most important responsibilities of a Hospitality Manager is to provide exceptional customer service to the business' guests. A Hospitality Manager is responsible for various duties, including departmental tasks, training and development, manage inventory and provide continuous support to General Managers.
Responsibilities
Ensures prompt and friendly service according to company guidelines.
Leads preshift on a shift-by-shift basis.
Builds a culture with our common goal in mind. “To provide every guest with an unforgettable dining experience through unmatched hospitality and the highest quality food and beverages.”
Conducts table touches with all guests dining ensuring guest contact as a priority with a target goal of 100% table visitation.
Enforces TABC regulations
Ensures all products in restaurant meets our company standards
Assist in scheduling and meeting staffing pars.
Assist management team in creating incentive programs, testing and training improvements
Manages restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation.
Communicates with other managers daily through management log
Completes any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Manages hourly team member performance
Creates server sections and job assignments based on performance of team members.
Constantly develops team members, including informal shift reviews and participates in daily one on one’s.
Provides candid and fair feedback on a regular basis to continuously work with team members on their areas of development
Demonstrate proper execution of training systems as outlined by the company while emphasizing the importance of training to associates.
Communicates to team members any negative performance and notifies managers when situations require or could lead to corrective action.
Communicates, enforces, and follows company policies, practices and procedures.
Maintains Controllable factors
Maintains and protects company assets
Complies with the local, state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines
Completes daily KPI reports to Senior Leadership Team
Follows all cash handling procedures
Participates in mid-month and monthly food and liquor inventories/costs at the GM’s request and is accountable for completion
Responsible for preparing and submission of accurate daily paperwork to appropriate parties.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
Able to multi-task
Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
Customer service focused and solution oriented
Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
Food handler's card may be required according to local and or state regulations
