    Overview

    A freestanding ER in Longview, TX is seeking a Hospitality Runner/Barista to join their team. The Hospitality Runner/Barista will strive to provide proficient, competent care while maintaining the patient's sense of comfort and dignity.

    Responsibilities for the Hospitality Runner/Barista

    1. Offering the coffee menu to all Lobby patients and during down time to the hall patients.

    2. Sending inventory of the coffee cart to the Hospitality Supervisor at the end of each shift

    3. Documenting purchases and time spent running errands accurately to immediate supervisor

    4. Ordering supplies as directed

    5. Engaging with all patients, visitors and staff and providing a warm welcome; prepare and deliver refreshments

    6. Prioritizing patient needs throughout the duration of their stay to include but not limited to answering questions and concerns; resolving any issues that may arise; running errands and providing meals

    7. Cleaning and organizing Hospitality Department stockrooms and storage areas

    8. Returning all resources to proper place and taking care of all resources

    Requirements and Qualifications for the Hospitality Runner/Barista

    • Customer service experience; demonstrated ability in customer service practice related to direct patient care in a high volume, high stress environment
    • Critical thinking skills; ability to work autonomously and make efficient use of time and resources
    • Ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
    • Flexibility to meet scheduling demands of department
    • High School Graduate/Equivalent
    • Barista Experience (not required, but it is a plus) Training is provided
