Responsibilities:
Responsible for greeting each guest and swiftly seating them according to the server rotation.
Must be an excellent communicator and engage with each guest during first contact and while taking them to their tables, answering any questions they may have in a hospitable manner.
Need a working knowledge of the menu and an understanding of allergens.
To satisfy our guest experience for dining in, host/hostess need to sanitize the menus.
If not busy, assist the team by doing table touches, pre bus tables, wipe and sanitize tables, sweep floor in dining room when needed and restock napkins when needed.
Follow opening and closing procedures.
Communicate shift issues to supervisor or manager on duty.
Complete daily side work.
Clean and sanitize work area before and after shift.
