Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Ensures that the host stand is stocked and set up to receive guests.
Maintains all menus in “like new” condition.
Maintains cleanliness & organization of lobby/foyer areas
Always the first to initiate contact with arriving guests with a warm, personalized welcome and eye contact.
Exercises awareness regarding any special guest needs/seating requirements. (Kid’s Menus, High Chair, Handicap Access Etc.)
Assists with “building” tables for large parties.
Always answers telephone with a “smile” and uses name in greeting.
Actively participates in team service by running food and beverages to tables/bar stools
as directed by management.
Looks for opportunities to assist other service team members in a pro-active manner.
Always makes an inquiry regarding their guest’s awareness of our VIP program.
Utilizes outstanding product knowledge to confidently suggest specific food & beverage items to guests.
Immediately notifies management of any complaint or issue verbalized by a guest.
Always thanks departing guests for dining/drinking with us.
Assists in maintaining restrooms by stocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness.
Takes & assembles take out and to go-orders as directed by management.
Accurately completes end of shift cash-out procedures.
Checks out with Management at conclusion of shift to ensure all duties & sidework have been completed to standard.
Performs additional tasks & projects as assigned.
Required Competencies, Qualifications & Physical Requirements
Arrives to work on time, well groomed, in an immaculate uniform, and ready to work.
Demonstrates a helpful, positive attitude when interacting with fellow employees, management & guests.
Understands and adheres to all safety, sanitation and administrative procedures.
Able to effectively speak, read & write in English.
Meets minimum age and permit requirements for serving alcohol.
Possess the physical stamina to stand working for up to 10 hours.
Able to move items up to 50 pounds for distances of up to 25 feet.
Comfortable working in an environment that may experience significant temperature changes.
