We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations efficiently.

Duties

Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.

Manage the reservation system and ensure accurate seating arrangements.

Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate guest needs.

Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.

Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.

Utilize our system for managing reservations and guest orders.

Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls in a professional manner and taking reservations as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is required.

Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.

Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast, is a plus.

Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential.

Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed in a restaurant setting.

A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this role.
