With over 700 locations in Japan and a rapid growth in the U.S, Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ is looking for candidates that are passionate about people and food to help spread out our dining culture with the world.
We are looking for Host in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities:
· Operates the hosting software system to schedule and arrange reservations.
Manages customer reservations and greets and seats customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner.
Follows established guidelines, procedures, and policies as prescribed by company standards.
Ensures work areas are clean and equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
Helps bussing and setting tables and performs side-work and cleaning duties as needed
Provides exceptional dining service to customers in a timely, courteous, efficient, and accurate manner
Qualifications:
· Excellent communication and restaurant experience preferred
· Passionate to provide genuine hospitality
· Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain great enthusiasm
· Be a team player with strong work ethics
· Must be able to work holiday season (Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year)
