Dante is seeking a host/service assistant! We specialize in Neapolitan pizza, Italian wine and work with fresh, local ingredients. The functions of this position include, but are not limited to:

Managing bookings, either in person, over the phone, or online

Providing waiting times to customers who are not pre-booked

Maintain menus

Creating an appropriate atmosphere for guests that’s in line with the restaurant and bar’s image, this include music, maintain live plants, appropriate lighting

Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in the front of house area

Providing a point of contact for customer feedback and helping to resolve any customer issues

Providing personalized service and assistance for large parties of guests and VIPs

Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)

Assisting with the opening, ongoing operations and closing of the restaurant

Assisting the waitstaff as needed ensuring everything is available for smooth service

Taking care of online and over the phone carryouts orders

Learning the food and beverage menu and being able to answer any inquiries and recommend products

Tips share is also part of the pay.
