Greeting- warmly welcoming guests
Seating- guiding guests to their tables
Cleaning and organizing front- of -house
Observing all tables, guests and staff
Assisting staff- helping dining room staff by setting and clearing tables, replenishing drinks
Hostesses should be personable, reliable, and have strong customer service skills. They should also be comfortable standing and waking for long periods. They should also be able to handle multiple priorities.
