Job Description

The Role:

You will be primarily responsible for moving trailers in the closed truck yard using a yard goat.

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 3PM-1AM

Essential Responsibilities Include, And Are Not Limited To:

• Write out the truck and /or dock door assignment sheet.
• Drive trucks off the dock that are not needed and stage them in the yard.
• Drive/ back in the trucks that will be used to the appropriate dock.
• Check refrigeration units for proper operation and temperature levels, complete required temperature log sheet.
• Edit the truck/dock sheet to finalize route door assignments and staged routes in the yard.
• Audit logs and Vehicle Inspection reports (VIR)
• Manage spreadsheets
• Input for truck maintenance
• Work with the warehouse to coordinate the loading of trucks
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• 23+ years or older
• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred.
• Valid Class C driver license and medical card
• Interstate qualification, registered
• Demonstrated ability to lift/ push/ pull 50+lbs. throughout the shift.
• Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Must be open to working Saturdays.
