  • Responsibilities

    The Doubletree by Hilton Colorado Springs is hiring a Hotel Accounting Manager. This position will report to the Hotel Controller and support the overall daily and monthly accounting activities. Responsibilities: • Assist with the compilation and preparation of the financial statement, periodic forecasts, and annual budget to provide support to the Accounting Department. • Review daily list of revenue activity to ensure accountability of activity, adjustments, tax liability, and general ledger coding and posting monthly to the general ledger. • Be responsible for the preparation of accounts receivable invoicing and the tracking/maintaining of accounts receivable. • Be responsible for the preparation of bi-weekly payroll, time-off accrual support; assist with the setup/ tracking of time off accruals, verify all LOAs are paid time-off correctly, and assist with maintenance/ communication of the accruals via the payroll system. • Performs other duties as assigned by management. • It will be handled with confidentiality, sensitivity, and knowledge. Qualifications: • Candidate must have 2 to 3 years of hotel accounting experience or related industry experience. • Hilton/PEP experience preferred but not required. Compensation: $58,500 - $60,000 yearly
