    Job Summary

    We are seeking a positive, friendly, and experienced Assistant General Manager to organize and oversee daily operations of our facilities. As the Assistant General Manager, you will supervise the activities of our diverse workforce.

    The Assistant General Manager will be involved in every aspect of the hotel operations, from dealing with customer complaints to strategizing and preparing reports. The Assistant General Manager must possess excellent communication skills and remain focused on ensuring both positive customer experiences and positive team/employee experiences. The ideal candidate is a team player as well as an effective leader, capable of leading by example and fostering a climate of cooperation and teamwork.

    Responsibilities

    Oversee the work of employees and set clear objectives

    Available to work weekends and holidays if needed.

    Organize and coordinate operations and allocate responsibilities to ensure maximum efficiency

    Manage budgets and expenses, analyze and report on financial information

    Communicate with customers when appropriate

    Resolve issues that arise with maintenance, and equipment

    Collaborate with outside entities including suppliers, vendors, event planners, and travel agencies

    Conduct regular inspections of the facility and uphold strict compliance with health and safety standards

    Assist the General Manager

    Qualifications

    Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager is preferred

    Familiarity with hospitality industry standards

    Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus

    Well-versed in hotel management best practices and relevant laws/guidelines

    Ability to resolve issues with a customer-focused orientation

    An outgoing personality

    Excellent communication skills

    Strong organizational and time-management skills

    Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or relevant field is preferred
