You'll be in charge of developing a revenue management strategy to maximize profitability for everyday sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events. Responsibilities: • Analyze market trends to determine pricing that balances costs, competition, and supply and demand • Actively seek new business using marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other methods • Consult with sales managers and stakeholders to evaluate the company's performance • Meet sales team goals and yearly sales targets, develop and implement short and long-term marketing strategies • Grow customer loyalty while also generating new business by nurturing long-term relationships Qualifications: • Computer skills are needed for this position, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably with some experience in a sales management role • This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing or hospitality being preferred • Marketing expertise and knowledge of sales department best practices are needed for this position • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Prior hotel and or resort sales experience is required
