Responsibilities: • Use marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other ways to actively pursue new business • Collaborate with sales managers and stakeholders to assess the performance of the organization • Analyze market trends to determine pricing that balances costs, competition, and supply and demand • Develop and train your team to better serve your customers • Achieve sales team goals and yearly sales targets and plan and implement short and long-term marketing plans Qualifications: • Computer skills are needed for this position, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably with some experience in a sales management role • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and best practices • This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing or hospitality being preferred • Prior hotel sales experience required, preferred directors level experience
