    Director of Sales - AC Hotel Washington DC Convention Center Develop and execute strategic sales plans through direct sales, marketing, e-commerce channels, public relations, and community partnerships. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers • Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network • Deliver previous and upcoming week's sales activity reports, as well as monthly sales expense reports, and meet with department managers to keep them up to date on all hotel sales-related expenses • Implement a strategic plan that aligns with revenue management and hotel objectives to assist the sales staff in meeting and exceeding room booking goals • Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast Qualifications: • Must be able to use basic computer software including Microsoft Office • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales through lead-generation and closing • We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required • Prior experience of 5+ years as a sales professional in a related field is required • Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000 yearly
