    We have created an extraordinary destination, an opportunity to lean into the nostalgia of the Interstate Inn while captivating and exciting guests with the redesign and the amazing restaurant and meeting space at The Seeker. We need a sales manager who can sell events and guest rooms, attract and book groups, help create BEOs, and define ways to maximize the business of the hotel and restaurant. There are a number of demand drivers to Stephenville, TX, but we also want someone who will create the demand based on the amenities of the property. You'll be part of developing our sales strategy and goals, collaborating with the Food and Beverage managers, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business from various hotel sectors. Our ideal candidate is a leader, innovator, and hard worker and brings 5+ years of sales experience to the role. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers • Solicit new guests with targeted outbound sales initiatives, such as personal calls to your network and phone solicitations to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups that will generate new revenue • Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures Qualifications: • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales through lead-generation and closing • Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills • Prior experience of 5+ years as a sales professional in a related field is required Compensation: $50,000+ commission

    • Book meetings, catered events, private dinners, receptions, and luncheons to maximize the use of the restaurant.
