Hotel Front Desk Agent - Overnight Shift
The brand new Avid Hotel by IHG is seeking a highly motivated individual for the full-time overnight front desk position.
The job duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:
checking guests in and out of the hotel, collecting and verifying payment information and properly processing the registration of all individual and group guests
making new reservations and assisting with questions and modifications of existing reservations
answering phones, sending and receiving emails, and communicating with departments as needed
assisting with guests' requests and providing them with extra amenities as needed
being knowledgeable of the local area, giving directions and making suggestions as to things to do in Fort Worth
being visible during the shift and ready to help at all times
walking the interior of the property each hour and checking the exterior regularly to ensure safety and security of the building and hotel property
processing the overnight audit reports and ensuring that financials are settled accordingly
double checking the work of the other shifts to ensure for accurate reporting and accounting
maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the lobby and public areas in downtime and throughout the shift as needed
assisting the breakfast attendant as needed to prepare for and during breakfast hours
other tasks and duties as assigned by the department manager
Our ideal candidate must:
have at least two years of face-to-face customer service experience
have a basic knowledge of computers and phone operating systems
genuinely care about people and have the desire to help others
be a team player and willing to help others
be self-motivated and willing to learn
Shifts and Hours:
This is a full-time position. Availability must be from 11 PM to 8 AM. This position includes weekends and only candidates with weekend availability will be considered for this position.
