Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle guest inquiries, and manage the front desk operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently and accurately.
- Handle all guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a courteous and effective manner.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Process payments and manage cash flow in accordance with hotel policies.
- Maintain an organized and tidy front desk area.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle reservations and manage bookings using the hotel’s property management system.
- Assist in managing the hotel’s telephone system, addressing calls promptly and professionally.
- Uphold hotel policies and security standards to ensure guest safety and comfort.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support hotel operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with property management software is desirable.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
