You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Responsibilities: • General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date • Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information • Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests • Handle customer complaints as necessary • Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready • Drive shuttle as needed • Shifts run from 7 am to 3 pm, 3 pm to 11 pm, and 11 pm to 7 am • Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Qualifications: • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • Must be able to stand for a minimum of eight hours per shift • Must be 21 years of age or older • Must have a clear background and driving record • Please only apply if you meet each of these criteria Compensation: $13.50 hourly to start
