You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Responsibilities: • Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready • Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct • Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers • Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests’ needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs • Field customer complaints when necessary • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate • Manage online and phone reservations Qualifications: • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills • High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent Compensation: $14 - $16+
