Responsibilities: • Handle customer complaints as necessary • Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct • Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information • Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready • Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests • Answer incoming calls and questions about guests’ needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests • Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers • Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information • Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests • Mitigate customer complaints as needed. Qualifications: • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent • 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills • Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent Compensation: $12.50- $13.50 hourly
