    We’re searching for an experienced General Manager to take the lead at the Holiday Inn Express in Vermilion. You’ll be responsible for guiding the team, improving revenue performance, managing accounting functions, and establishing a strong, positive culture that supports both staff and guest satisfaction. This role is key to ensuring our hotel operates efficiently and delivers consistently high performance. We’re looking for someone who can step in and make an immediate impact. Responsibilities: • Lead all aspects of daily hotel operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality guest experiences. • Drive revenue performance through effective strategy and execution. • Manage financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. • Build and maintain a strong team culture focused on growth, accountability, and service excellence. • Recruit, train, and develop staff to uphold the hotel’s standards and values. • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction. • Ensure compliance with brand standards and local regulations. • Collaborate with ownership on property goals and performance metrics. • Proactively address operational challenges and guest concerns. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry. • Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and financials. • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on driving results. • Ability to remain organized under pressure. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and management company. • Familiarity with IHG brand standards is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred but not required. • Proficient in hotel management software and tools. Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 yearly
