Hotel Grounds Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:
The Grounds Maintenance Technician helps create a welcoming and well-kept resort environment by maintaining landscaping, walkways, and exterior public areas. This hands-on role supports the overall guest experience through consistent upkeep of the property’s exterior.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine lawn care: mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, planting

• Maintain irrigation systems and assist with minor plumbing repairs

• Clean and maintain sidewalks, pathways, and outdoor furniture

• Handle seasonal work such as snow removal, de-icing, or leaf clean-up

• Conduct exterior inspections and report needed repairs (lighting, fencing, etc.)

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience with landscaping tools and equipment (mowers, blowers, trimmers)

• Ability to work in all weather conditions

• Basic maintenance skills (painting, light repair, minor electrical or plumbing tasks)

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor

• Dependable with good time management and problem-solving skills
