ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Clean assigned rooms according to system standards and best methods. • This includes but is not limited to making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting furniture. • Place and restock useable items in the guest room including paper items, soap, towels, etc. according to hotel standards. • Operate housekeeping equipment in a correct and safe manner. Report any equipment malfunctions to the General Manager and/or Maintenance department. • Assist with guest laundry completion as required. • Maintain and restock housekeeping cart each day. • Know hotel emergency procedures and be prepared to carry them out. • Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys, or keys left by guests in the room. • Follow the Lost and Found program. • Report immediately to the General Manager any “out of the ordinary” situations in the guests’ room, including parties in the room, unusually dirty rooms or a vacant room when the room is thought to be occupied. • Complete maintenance work orders and deliver them to designated areas in a timely manner. • Accommodate guest special requests courteously and with a sense of priority. • Answer guest’s questions regarding local area facilities and services. • Expected to carry out all reasonable requests by Managers/Supervisors which the associate can perform. The hotel is open 7 days each week, weekends and holidays may be required. Qualifications: Experience: • Hotel Housekeeper: 1 year (Preferred). Compensation: $12 Hourly
