    Days Inn Inner Harbor is looking for the right candidate. As a growing hospitality company, we are looking for an experienced Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor to assist in overseeing the housekeeping staff, budgets and operations of this department. Housekeeping Supervisor responsibilities include ensuring each guest has a wow experience when they enter their rooms, assist with managing employees to ensure they get the job done right the first time and ensuring policies are followed.     Responsibilities

    To be a Change Agent that is focused on ensuring all clients are treated like family.

    Assist with hiring, training, and supervising the housekeeping staff.

    Implement operational procedures for the housekeeping department.

    Assist with preparing work schedules for the housekeeping staff.

    Conducts daily shift meetings with all housekeeping associates when Executive Housekeeper is not present.

    Assists with coaching and counseling housekeeping team members to ensure that all policies, procedures, training, and standards are being maintained.

    Inspects rooms and areas to ensure that health regulations, safety and departmental policies are being met.

    Daily walk-through of the hotel

    Partners with management and maintenance staff to ensure that all Guest Room preventative maintenance opportunities are identified and addressed in a timely manner.

    Assists with conducting daily quality checks, remediation, and subsequent training for Housekeeping Staff

    Assists with maintaining financial records and preparing budgets and enforces housekeeping cost controls.

    Assists with maintaining, organizing, and controlling inventory of guest and housekeeping supplies and linen

    Follow Wyndham's safe work habits and standards.

    Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned during peak periods or as requested by management.

    Qualifications:

    Experience working in a hospitality or service organization; prior exposure to customer service is required.

    Housekeeping Supervisory experience is required.

    Experience in a Hotel setting.

    Experience with Property Management Systems preferred

    Ability to build rapport with guests

    Strong organizational skills

    Excellent verbal communication skills

    High School diploma or equivalent required.

    Associate's Degree or higher preferred.

    Physical Requirement:

    Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, or crouching. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
