Hotel Houseman - Atwell Suites KCI
Overview:
The Houseman assists with daily housekeeping procedures in all guest rooms and other public areas of Atwell Suites KCI in accordance with IHG standards to ensure areas are Guest Ready every day.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Keep lobby, restrooms, elevators, fitness center, and all public areas spotlessly clean at all times.
Empty trash and maintain cleanliness of administrative offices.
Clean all lobby glass in a manner that allows a crystal clear view of outside.
Maintain and clean all lobby and corridor rugs at a very high level of cleanliness, free of spots, threads, snags, etc.
Maintain the cleanliness of the breakroom and break room bathrooms.
Maintain cleanliness of stairwells.
Perform property walks and identify areas that need attention.
Identify and address minor maintenance issues throughout the hotel, notifying the Chief Engineer when appropriate.
Fulfill guest requests made to front desk staff including but not limited to toiletries, linens, small maintenance issues, etc.
Other Duties and Expectations:
Lead by example; encourage co-workers to always perform at the highest levels.
Ask for feedback from supervisors; be open and willing to take directions and/or make changes to job performance as needed.
Engage guests at all opportunities to build a level of comfort between the guest and our property, instilling a “Home Away From Home” comfort during their stay.
Understand and respond to customer’s needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
