JOB SUMMARY: Drives guests to and from the airport, area businesses, and other locations. Makes basic repairs on an on-call basis to guest room issues (TV/HVAC/Plumbing) etc- will train. Communicate with the front desk on guest requests in their room. The Maintenance staff at the Best Western Plus Grant Creek Inn runs 24/7, as such we are hiring for a variety of shifts and hours. Candidate must be very reliable and punctual, as essential hotel functions rely on their dependability. WEEKEND AVAILABILITY is a must. Responsibilities: • Ensure all public areas are clean and well-maintained throughout the day • Assist in delivering linens, amenities, and other supplies to guest rooms • Drive and operate the hotel shuttle to transport guests to local destinations • Provide exceptional customer service to guests by answering questions and offering assistance • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shuttle vehicle Qualifications: • Interpersonal Skills (Connecting with Guests on a comfortable, personal level) • Experienced with general maintenance tools • Caring and compassionate attitude • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays • Reliability and punctuality Compensation: $15 - $16 hourly
