Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weekend Laundry Attendant to join our team at Courtyard Smyrna. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for ensuring all hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry are cleaned, folded, and delivered in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing excellent service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry items.

Inspect linens for stains or damage and report any issues to management.

Ensure all laundry is cleaned according to hotel standards and ready for use.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room, including keeping equipment in good working condition.

Restock supplies such as detergent, fabric softener, and other necessary items.

Monitor laundry equipment for proper functioning and report any malfunctions to maintenance.

Ensure timely delivery of clean laundry to various hotel departments as needed.

Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in all work areas.

Adhere to safety protocols and company policies regarding handling of cleaning chemicals and machinery.

Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by the housekeeping or management team.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good physical stamina, as the role involves standing, lifting, and bending.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Ability to follow instructions and adhere to hotel policies.

Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.

Ability to handle guest laundry with care and confidentiality.

Schedule:

Primarily weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday), with potential for occasional holiday shifts.
