Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Shift is Part-time with potential for full-time Friday, Saturday, Sunday availability preferred 8:30 am- 4:30 pm On-call availability is a plus! Responsibilities: • React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts • Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments • Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks • Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans • Handle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure guest satisfaction Qualifications: • Driver’s license and outstanding driving record is necessary • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required • 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role • The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required • Experience with facilities management software is preferred Compensation: $15 - $18 hourly
