Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads • Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues • Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment • Follow all engineering safety rules and regulations • Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans Qualifications: • You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required • Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills • Experience with facilities management software is preferred • Driver’s license and outstanding driving record is necessary
