  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Perform repairs and maintenance to air conditioning, heating, plumbing, minor electrical, and other related systems and other equipment. Respond to emergency situations such as fire, power outage, gas or water leak, and the like.

    • Utilize company work order system for responding to and completing word orders, PMs, and other assigned tasks based on priority and business needs.
    • Physically respond to emergency situations; i.e., fire, power outage, gas leak, water leak, or any other emergency situation or repair.
    • Repair and install minor electrical repairs throughout complex.
    • Install and repair plumbing parts and equipment, to include clearing minor drain clogs with electric rotary action snake or other appropriate manner.
    • Repair and install new or damaged equipment; such as but not limited to, televisions, ceiling repairs due to water leaks, lighting repairs, fixtures, kitchen and other equipment.
    • Perform minor paint touch ups and drywall repairs.
    • Perform routine maintenance on various hotel equipment including but not limited to the following:
      • Hotel mechanical systems.
      • Hotel appliances, fixtures, and equipment.
      • Other various mechanical systems as assigned.
    • Assist with receiving and stocking of hotel deliveries.
    • Set up and tear down of events and meetings.
    • Provide escort of vendors and contractors performing work within the hotel.
    • Transport and dispose of trash and recycling materials per property guidelines.
    • Maintain shop, tools, equipment, and all work areas in professional manner.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by Facility and Hotel management.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Prior related experience preferred.
    • Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
    • Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
    • Must have hand and finger dexterity necessary to accomplish duties.
    • Must be able to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
    • Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
    • Must have excellent communication skills.
    • Proficient use of company computer programs to include email and ordering systems.
    • Utilization of company work order system to respond and complete work orders based on priority.
    • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
