About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Manager to operate Ocean House, an eight-room bed and breakfast in Beach Cove. As the Hotel Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our hotel's smooth operation and high-quality service while also leading and motivating our team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
This position is not a live-in management role. The operations schedule will require a 4/10 schedule commitment each week. This role will report to the General Management team in Newport.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily hotel operations and guest services
Manage and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service
Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy goals
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
Provide administrative and invoice support
Social media to encourage revenue
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or similar role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physically able to traverse stairs throughout the day, stand for multiple hours at a time, and lift and carry up to 30lbs
Strong leadership and organizational abilities
Knowledge of hotel management software and financial management
Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field
