About the Role:
We seek a Front Desk Supervisor (FOM) to join our VIP Hospitality Group LLC team in The Dalles, OR. As our guests' first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all who walk through our doors.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries.
Keep up all housekeeping standards and company policies. Create/adjust standards and procedures as needed.
Work closely with maintenance to ensure routine and preventative maintenance is done around the property.
Train and supervise staff, ensuring high customer service and professionalism standards.
Assist VIP accounting team in completing day close, coding invoices, and other administrative activities.
Maintain a positive working relationship with vendors.
Handle guest complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner
Assist in managing room inventory and rates to maximize revenue
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in a housekeeping, front desk, or hospitality role. A supervisor role or other level of management.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management is a plus
