Hotel Room Attendant - Holiday Inn KCI/Atwell Suites KCI
Overview:
The Room Attendant performs daily housekeeping procedures in all guest rooms and other public areas of Holiday Inn KCI and/or the Atwell Suites KCI in accordance with IHG standards to ensure areas are “Guest Ready” every day.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean all corridors, elevators, guest rooms, and other public areas of the hotel.
Deliver any requested housekeeping items or room supplies to guest rooms; restock room supplies upon guest departure or when requested.
Remove and replace dirty linens upon guest departure or when requested.
Realign furniture according to the prescribed layout; inspect and turn mattresses regularly.
Respond to any guest queries and requests.
Respond to calls for housekeeping problems promptly and courteously.
Organize and restock the housekeeping cart at the end of each shift.
Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms.
Follow all company safety and security procedures.
Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage to hotel property.
Other Duties and Expectations:
Lead by example; encourage co-workers to always perform at the highest levels.
Ask for feedback from supervisors; be open and willing to take directions and/or make changes to job performance as needed.
Engage guests at all opportunities to build a level of comfort between the guest and our property, instilling a “Home Away From Home” comfort during their stay.
Understand and respond to customer’s needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
