You will be responsible for designing our sales strategy and revenue targets, training and evaluating our sales personnel, and ensuring that we generate new and recurring business through various areas of revenue. Responsibilities: • Coordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitability • Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures • Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast • Implement a strategic plan that aligns with revenue management and hotel objectives to assist the sales staff in meeting and exceeding room booking goals • Solicit new guests with targeted outbound sales initiatives, such as personal calls to your network and phone solicitations to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups that will generate new revenue Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required • Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality field, is required • Prior experience in the hospitality field is a plus • Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 yearly
